Star Wars: Galactic Insights Rules

The 23 Commandments

1. Thou shalt NOT make any discrimatory comments to or about another person OOCly.
2. Thou shalt have no unattended triggering. This means automating thy character via triggers so it performs actions without thou at the keyboard. This does NOT include timers to stop thou from going idle.
3. Thou shalt have IC reason to kill someone. See PKILL
4. Thou shalt NOT destroy an unmanned capital class vessel by any means. Thou shalt NOT destroy a personal ship without a valid RP reason. Though shalt NOT destroy a government ship without RP reason and members of that organization online.
5. Thou shalt NOT go AFK, LD, or log out to avoid a PK, imprisonment, or immortal punishment. Avoiding a PK in such a manner will get thou slain. Likewise, thou will NOT "hide" or refuse to log thy character to avoid RP/PK. Doing so will get thou punished.
6. Thou shalt NOT take advantage of a BUG or IMMORTAL ERROR.
7. Thou shalt NOT abuse channels in any way, shape, or form.
8. Thou shalt have a description and bio by level 30.
9. Thou shalt NOT make items with names that other items already have. Example: making a container called "a piece of silk" and trying to sell it for more than it's worth.
10. We shalt NOT tolerate harrassment of any form or any kind here at any time. Period.
11. Thou shalt NOT ask Immortals for ANYTHING such as credits levels, equipment, transfers, restores, heals, double/triple bonuses, RPP, QP, or Force.
12. Thou shalt respect ALL of the Immortals whether thou like them or not. If thou disagree with one of them, quietly appeal to a higher immortal or keep thy mouth shut. We won't put up with childish behavior, we will politely ask thou to leave. This is a hobby for thee as much as it is for thou.
13. Thou shalt get clarification on something if thou receive two different answers from two different immortals.
14. Thou shalt NOT multiplay, alt drop, or corpse loot. See Multiplaying
15. Thou shalt be silenced/banned if thou advertise another MUD in any form.
16. Thou shalt remain in character at all times. There is no excusefor leaving in character. See IC
17. Thou shalt leave items with the title of "darkness" alone, unless thou were sent for that item.
18. Thou shalt NOT reveal anyone's alt to anyone via any means, be it a mortal or immortal alt, ingame or over an instant messenger. If thou do, there will be grave consequences.
19. Thou shalt NOT lie to an immortal. Furthermore, thall shalt NOT deceive someone OOCly into doing something ICly.
20. Thou shalt NOT receive punishment on one character, and log another character and complain. This will ensure a slay.
21. Thou shalt use explosives freely on any planet. This includes planetary bombing. If thou kill someone, be prepared to face the repurcussions.
22. Thou shalt read helpfiles before asking what something does or how something works when a helpfile exists that clearly explains the subject.
23. Thou shalt NOT ask the identity of an invisible member of staff. There is a reason they are invisible.

The Administration reserves the right to consider any unsavory or unfair act illegal. It is completely under their discretion as to what is and what is NOT illegal, excepting these rules, which are non-negotiable.
