1. Terms

The following terms and conditions govern the use of the game, Star Wars: Galactic Insights, provided by Galactic Insights Inc.(the "Company"), running at www.swgi.org and the associated website and all content, services and products available at or through the website or game, including without limitation, comments, forum posts, Star Wars and Star Wars names. By accessing this web site(www.swgi.org), you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

2. Content

If you post content to Star Wars: Galactic Insights, or otherwise make any content available to the Company, you are entirely responsible for the content and any harm resulting from the content. By making such content available, you represent and warrant that:

• the downloading, copying and use of the content will not infringe the proprietary rights, including but not limited to the copyright, patent, trademark or trade secret rights, of any third party;
• the content does not contain or install any viruses, worms, malware, Trojan horses or other harmful or destructive content;
• the content is not spam, is not machine- or randomly-generated, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party sites,
• the content is not unlawful, harmful, tortious, defamatory, libelous, obscene, invasive of the privacy of another person, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, racist, infringing, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate.

3. Disclaimer

1. The materials on the Company's web site are provided "as is". The Company makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, the Company does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

4. Limitations

In no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the Company's Internet site, even if the Company or an authorized representative of the Company has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

5. Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on the Company's web site could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. The Company does not warrant that any of the materials on its web site are accurate, complete, or current. The Company may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. The Company does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

6. Links

The Company has not reviewed all of the sites linked to www.swgi.org, or to which link from www.swgi.org, and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by the Company of the site. Use of any such linked web site is at the user's own risk.

Furthermore, the Company has not reviewed all content posted to the site through use of the Site Software or the Forum. We do not warrant the accurateness of any posted content.

7. Game

  The Galactic Insights MUD(the "MUD") is an online game provided by the Company, owned by Brian "Banner" Sherman(the "Owner"), subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions set forth below. Please read this document carefully before accessing or using the MUD. By accessing or using the MUD, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not access or use the MUD. The Company may modify this agreement at any time and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement on the MUD. You agree to review the agreement periodically to be aware of such modifications and your continued access or use of the MUD shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified agreement.

    a. Copyright

   The entire contents of this MUD are protected by International copyright and trademark laws. The owner of the copyright and trademarks are the Company, it's affiliates, or other third party licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reproduce, in any manner, the material on the MUD, including text, graphics, code, and/or other software. You may print, download, and upload portions of material from the different portions of the MUD solely for your own non-commercial use provided that you do not change or delete any copyright or proprietary notices from the materials.

    b. Areas and Game Content

   Game Content, specifically MUD areas, including Mobs, Objects, Rooms, Programs, ect., become the property of the Company when submitted to this MUD. No matter the size of the change, once modified, the content becomes the property of the Company. The Company will not, under any circumstances, remove  any portion of any game content by request, nor submit copies to any individual for any reason. Game-content is protected under this clause and cannot be used without the entirety of the Galactic Insights MUD Engine(the "Engine").

    c. Code and Software

   The Engine is owned and maintained by the MUD's Development Team. Use of the MUD's Engine in part or in whole without explicit, written, permission from the Company's Owner, is strictly forbidden.

    d. Account

   You are responsible to maintain the security and integrity of your account(s), and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account. You must immediately notify the Company of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breaches of security.

    e. Termination

   The Company reserves the right to terminate or block your access, in part or whole, to any services offered by the Company, with or without cause, with or without notice, at any time.

8. Site Terms of Use Modifications

The Company may revise these terms of use for its web site at any time without notice. By using this web site you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

9. Governing Law

Any claim relating to the Company's web site shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.
