Star Wars: Galactic Insights is one of the most advanced and feature-rich Star Wars Reality MUDs available. It is a text-based Roleplaying game based in the Star Wars Universe. In this game, you create a character to live and breathe in the Star Wars Universe. You can lead the New Republic, battle for the Empire as a Sith, pilot a capital ship into battle, hunt bounties as a bounty hunter, and many other things too numerous to list.

Galactic Insights is the highest rated Star Wars Reality MUD available and has had no significant downtime whatsoever since opening in 2005. Galactic Insights has many unique features aside from a heavily modified space system that allows for planetary bombing, ship modules, and completely custom ship creation, to our minigames including trivia, lazertag, freezetag, and arena, to over 280 skills, over 20 races, 15 planets, 10,000 rooms, 10,000 objects, and 5000 mobs. Our playerbase is active, stable, and friendly. Our immortals are friendly, experienced, and eager to be of assistance.

If you are new to MUDs, you may click the Play link to use our Java client to connect directly to our MUD. If you have your own client, you may connect to us via mud.swgi.org:8060.
